  1. Aching: Add 6 drops each of Lavender, Eucalyptus and Rosemary in 30 ml vegetable oil and massage on affected area.
  2. Acne: Add 3 drops each of Lavender & Lemon Oil in 15 ml. sweet Almond Oil and apply on face daily twice a day.
  3. Anxiety: Take a warm bath daily with a few drops of Orange.
  4. Arthritis: Mix 2 drops each of Lavender, Eucalyptus & Rosemary to 1 tablespoon Almond oil. Massage the oil into the area and wrap in a towel dipped in hot water about 3 or 4 times a day.
  5. Asthma:
    • Use 3 drops of Eucalyptus Oil regularly in the bath.
    • During an attack of asthma, put 2 drops each of Eucalyptus & Lavender on a tissue and inhale if you are not sensitive to oil.
    • Between attacks massage the chest, ribcage and upper back with the following blend: Mix 3 drops each of Eucalyptus and Lavender in 15 ml of sweet Almond oil.
  6. Bronchitis:
    • Steam inhalation is the best way to combat excess mucus. A few drops of Eucalyptusand Rosemary can be added to a bowl of hot water which should be inhaled deeply for 3 to 10 minutes.
    • Add 3 drops each of Eucalyptus and Lavender to a bowl of hot water and inhale to help congestion in the chest or dry coughs.
  7. Burns: Immediately pour cold water onto site of the burn for at least for 10 minutes. If it is painful or difficult then immerse the affected area in ice-cold water or apply an ice-cold compress for the same amount of time. Make the compress by placing ice cubes in a bowl of cold water, add 4 drops of Lavender and use a sterile cloth to pick up the oil from the surface of the water, and then apply to the injured area.
  8. Catarrh: Make a massage blend with 3 drops each of Rosemary and Lemon in 20 ml sweet Almond oil and massage at the base of the skull, followed by squeezing the eyebrows, forehead and base of the nose, and finally gentle strokes down the nose, out to the ears and down the neck.
  9. Cellulite: Add 4 drops each of Rosemary, Orange and Lemon in 20 ml good carrier oil like sweet Almond. Massage into the cellulite areas. Work deeply into the tissues to smoothen bumpy and dimpled skin.
  10. Cervical Pain: Add 4 drops each of Rosemary, Lemon and Eucalyptus in 20 ml good carrier oil like sweet Almond. Massage into the affected aching areas.
  11. Chest Infection: Add 6 drops of Eucalyptus oil and 6 drops of Lavender oil to 20 ml. of Sun Flower oil and then massage or rub it into the chest, throat and upper back area.
  12. Chilblains: Prepare a blend by mixing 6 drops of Lavender and 6 drops of Rosemary in 15 ml of sweet Almond oil. Using this blend directly rub all over the feet and hands as well as into the affected fingers and toes.
  13. Colds: Add 3 drops of Eucalyptus and 3 drops of Lavender to bowl of boiling water and inhale the steam.
  14. Constipation: Add 4 drops each of Lemon & Orange in 15 ml Sunflower oil. Massage over the abdomen in circular movement half an hour after taking meal.
  15. Cough: Add 3 drops of Eucalyptus and 3 drops of Lavender to a bowl of boiling water, rape a large towel over your head to create a mini stream room, you should close your eyes and inhale it deeply. You should breathe in fresh air at regular intervals but continue it at least for five minutes.
  16. Cramps: Add 4 drops each of eucalyptus, Lavender & Rosemary in 30 ml. Sunflower oil and massage into your calf muscles after sport to ward off an attack of cramp.
  17. Cuts: Put 3 drops of Lavender on a piece of gauze and place it over the cut. Renew it twice a day and expose the cut to air on the third day if possible.
  18. Dandruff: Mix 6 drops each of Rosemary & Lemon Oil in 30 ml. vegetable oil. Massage this blend in the scalp and leave for overnight. Shampoo and rinse thoroughly in the morning.Repeat the treatment every alternate day decreasing to twice a week.
  19. Depression: Add 4 drops of Lavender & 3 drops of Lemon oil to 15 ml Sunflower oil and apply on forehead thrice a day.
  20. Diarrhoea: For diarrhoea caused by food or a virus, gently massage the abdomen using small, circular strokes in a clockwise direction and also the following blend can be used across the lower back area. Make the blend by mixing 10 5 drops of Eucalyptus in 25 ml of sweet Almond oil.
  21. Eczema: Add 8 drops of Lavender in 20 ml sweet Almond oil apply on affected area.
  22. Fainting: Add 6 dopes of Rosemary in 15 ml. Sunflower oil and apply on forehead in case of fainting due to low blood pressure.
  23. Fever: Add 3 drops each of Lavender & Eucalyptus Oil in a bowl of ice-cold water. Soak a small towel in this water and place it over forehead. Repeat for 5 minutes.
  24. Flatulence: Add 2 drops of Eucalyptus & 2 drops of Orange Oil in 10 ml. vegetable oil. Rub over the whole of the abdomen in a clockwise direction, half an hour after taking meal.
  25. Flu:
    • Take warm bath by adding 3 drops of Eucalyptus and 2 drops of Lavender in a bathtub.
    • Ifa person is feeling too weak and having high temperature, use a cold compress. For that add 3 drops of Lavender to a bowl of cool water and then using a soft cloth of sponge dab the body carefully until the temperature falls.
  26. Fluid Retention: Add 5 drops of any one of Lemon, Orange orRosemary to a warm bath to get relief.
  27. Gall Bladder Stone: Occasionally, stones may form in the gall bladder and may lie there without much discomfort or pain. But, in case the stones get dislodged from the gall bladder and pass along the bile duct causing inflammation, the patient feels unbearable pain below the right ribs and may even roll on the ground. This is called biliary colic. The condition may be accompanied by jaundice, sweating and vomiting.
    Take 6 drops of Lemon Oil and mix it in 15 ml of Sesame Oil and gently massage on right under surface of Liver.
  28. Gout: For acute gout you can apply a cold compress to the painful joint using 2 drops of Rosemary and gently stroke the massage oil (9 drops of Rosemary + 15 ml Sunflower oil) around the effected area. Besides massage, regular exercise or movement, however slight, is of great benefit to this condition.
  29. Gum Infection: Add 2 drops each of Lavender and Eucalyptus and 1 drop Lemon in a cup of warm water and use as a mouthwash. Do not swallow.
  30. Mouth Infection: Add 2 drops each of Lavender and Eucalyptus and 1 drop Lemon in a cup of warm water and use as a mouthwash. Do not swallow.
  31. Hair Loss: Mix 6 drops each of Rosemary & Lavender Oil in 30 ml. vegetable oil. Massage this blend in the scalp and leave for overnight. Shampoo and rinse thoroughly in the morning.Repeat the treatment twice a week.
  32. Headache: Add 6 drops of Lavender in 15 ml. Sunflower oil and rub on forehead twice a day for 7 days and then rub as & when required.
  33. Heart-burn: Excess of acidity in the gastric juice is medically known as hyperacidity & also commonly called 'heart-burn' as there is sour or burning taste in the throat and at the back of the tongue due to sourness of the stomach. Open a bottle of Lemon oil and deep inhale for 1 minute thrice a day. Take 6 drops of Lemon oil and mix in 15 ml of Sunflower oil and massage clockwise at tummy.
  34. High Blood Sugar: Add 8 drops each of Eucalyptus & Lemon oil and massage on left back side of stomach daily.
  35. High Blood Pressure: Use 5-10 drops of Orange or Lavender Oil in your bath
  36. Indigestion: Add 5 drops each of Lemon & Orange oil in 15 ml. Sunflower oil and massage into the stomach using slow, circular, clockwise strokes can bring relief. Or try inhaling the aromas from a tissue.
  37. Insect Bite: In case of treating insect bites use neat Lavender to the bites immediately after the injury. It should be applied three times daily.
  38. Insomnia:
    • A relaxing bath before going to bed can help reduce anxiety and induce calm. Add 6 drops of Lavender to a warm bath and soak for at least 15 minutes, inhaling the soothing aroma.
    • Alternatively sprinkle 2 drops of Lavender oil on your night wear and inhale deeply or 1 drop ofLavender may be applied to pulse point on the wrists and neck.
  39. Itching: Add 6 drops of Lavender oil in 15 ml. Almond oil and apply on itching area thrice a day.
  40. Low Blood Pressure: Use 5-10 drops of Rosemary or Eucalyptus Oil in your bath.
  41. Menstrual Pain: Add 10 drops of Lavender oil in 15 ml. Sunflower oil. Use the formulae as massage oil and rub over the shoulders, abdomen and lower back area. Do this daily, including throughout your period.
  42. Muscular Pain: Add 10-10 drops of Eucalyptus, Lavender & Rosemary in 30 ml. Sesame (Til) Oil and massage at affected areas twice a day.
  43. Nausea: Aromatic bath can be helpful for nausea. To refreshadd 3 drops of Orange and 3 drops of Lavender oil to a bath.
  44. Nervous Tension: Add 3 drops each of Lavender and Lemon in 15 ml. Sunflower oil and massage around the temples and the base of the skull. Also massage over the solar plexus in a clockwise direction.
  45. Overtired Muscles: Add 10 drops of Rosemary oil in 15 ml. Sesame (Til) Oil and massage at overtired muscles twice a day.
  46. Poor Circulation: Add 5-10 drops of Rosemary oil in bath-tub and take bath daily.
  47. Scars: Add 6 drops of Lavender oil in 15 ml Almond oil and apply on scars daily.
  48. Sinusitis: To relieve congestion, steam inhalation method can be used: Add 3 drops of Eucalyptus or Rosemary to a bowl of water, then drape a large towel over your head to create a mini stream room, close your eyes and inhale deeply. While breathing fresh air at regular intervals, you do not allow too much steam escape. Continue it at least for five minutes.
  49. Skin Infection: Add 6 drops of Eucalyptus oil in 15 ml. Almond oil and apply on infected area daily.
  50. Sore Throats: To relieve hoarseness, apply a massage just under the jaw, the throat, neck and chest areas with the following blend: Mix 6 drops of Lavender and 6 drops of Eucalyptus in 25 ml of sweet Almond oil to prepare the blend.
  51. Spasmodic Pain: Add 4 drops each of Lavender & Eucalyptus in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, can be used in abdomen massage in a clockwise direction, half an hour after taking meal.
  52. Sports Injuries: Add 10 drops of Rosemary and 5 drops of Lemon oil to 30 ml of a Sunflower oil and massage on injury.
  53. Spots: Apply daily, two drops of Lemon oil in one teaspoon of Rose water.
  54. Sprains: Add 5 drops each of Lavender & Rosemary in 15 ml. vegetable oil and massage into the sprained area.
  55. Stress: Take a warm bath daily with a few drops of Lavender.
  56. Stretch Marks: Add 6 drops of Lavender in 1 tablespoon Wheat germ/ Vegetable oil. Massage lightly to the belly and the breasts. This blend is excellent to prevent stretch marks and getting rid of its existence.
  57. Sunburn: Add 10 drops of Lavender oil to 15 ml. Almond Oil & apply on affected area.
  58. Travel Sickness: Add 10 drops in bath-tub and take a relaxing and calming bedtime bath.
  59. Viral Fever: Take bath with 4 drops each of Eucalyptus & Rosemary Oil.
  60. Wounds: Put 3 drops of Lavender on a piece of gauze and place it over the wound. Renew it twice a day and expose the wound to air on the third day if possible.

    1 Avoid use of Lavender & Rosemary Oil during first five months of pregnancy.
    2 Don’t use Eucalyptus & Rosemary Oil if you suffer from High Blood Pressure or Epilepsy.
    3 Don’t use Lemon & Orange Oil on skin, which is to be exposed to the Sun.
    4 Keep out of reach of Children. External use only. Don’t use in concentrate form.
